Well, I just recently found out that Majora's Mask might actually have it's own remake. If Nintendo does this, then that would be awesome! Anyway, I just thought what you guys think of this.

Majora's Mask NEEDS more attention. It's like one of the best Zelda games of all time!

...But I actually think it would be cooler if they made a sequel rather then a remake.

Well, that's nice to do remakes of good games, but we'd like actual new games too! ^^'

It's good that we're getting brand new games soon, so another remake is welcome in the future IMO. :D

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are sister games- they go hand in hand. So I can only hope they remake Majora's Mask. :D

Imagine if they had a Master Quest. Hahaha.

A Majora's Mask Master Quest would make it worth it. But I agree with what Psygonis said, remakes are cool, but it'd be cooler to have new games instead.

Basically what made me buy Ocarina of Time 3DS. XD

But I'd buy Majora's Mask with or without. Probably cause I'm more of a fan of MM then OoT.

Guest Mr. Nintendo

Although I enjoyed Majora's Mask on N64, I really think Nintendo needs to new games insted of remakes...but knowing them, it ain't gonna happen.

To me, Oot and MM were one game. I played them booth soooo much. They were the sheeeeet, yo! Anyways that is cool but like others have said a sequel to it would be nice. Even though MM is a sequel already.

I would not say they are one game, but I will say that both games go together beautifully. They are like 2 sides of the same coin. One game brought the world of Hyrule to life, while the other sought to look closer to the world around it and the intricate characters that are in it.

Operation Moonfall Petition? Doesn't that sound archaic.

I don't really think Majora's mask is a game that you can make a sequel too, and the absolute worst thing you could do to such a fantastic game would be to cheapen it with a crappy sequal this far down the road. that said, ive never liked a game world better than Termina, so if they did it right, i would play it in a heartbeat, but i could see it going really, really bad :S

My DS is always with me though, so a hand-held remake would be pretty sweet.

A Majora's Mask remake would be good, as I liked it a lot myself. The only thing that kinda irked me was the whole 3 day thing and the fact that when you cleared an area of Termina and then went back to the 1st day, it'd be uncleared in appearance (but still counted as cleared, which I suppose makes sense seeing as it was uncleared when you first got to Termina, and the Song of Time always takes you back to when you first left the clock tower). That and the Sun's Mask puzzle was a little irritating until you got the hang of it.

It took me many times to get that. Not to mention I just loath the Goron races.

I loved all the side quests. My favorite was the getting epona and saving the farm from the aliens. That and saving the milk from the bandits. Fun fun fun

The bandits were wimps because you had infinite arrows so all you had to do was bombard them.

That game is full of win. :)

Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time are like two parts of one whole, both games make up a complete experience. As much as Nintendo needs to make new games, they should make Majora's Mask 3D to round out the experience.

Plus, Ocarina of Time 3D let newer gamers experience that masterpiece, so it would seem fair to show Majora's Mask the same opportunity.

Man, I love Majora's Mask, it's one of my favorite action/adventure games of all time, and my favorite Zelda; there's just so many things I love about it..... If they remade it, I would definitely have to get a 3DS because there would be 2 excellent reasons for me to get it: Star Fox 64 3DS and Majora's Mask.

The problem with that is you end up with a starwars like problem where they keep remastering and re-releasing the same thing every 5 years or so.

Nope. I'm pretty sure there only going to remaster these once. I mean, They made a remake for Super Mario 64 on the DS...I'll bet they could have gone, "Oh hey, why don't we make Super Mario 64 3DS too!" I don't think people remake remakes.

..exacpt they did that with the 2D marios. Nes, then remade on snes, then remade again for GBA, and of course re-released on Virtual Console, and again on DSi ware.
