To be honest i dont care much for the show, but i dont mind if people watch it. But the image macros can and do piss me off sometimes when they just swarm a topic, and ponies have nothing to do with that given topic.

Well that'd be me. And if you'd of been on the site before I knew about Friendship is Magic, you'd of known that I did the same exact thing with demotivational posters. I would speak using those images as well, I just prefer the ponies because the content is something that I actually care about, and find quite amusing.
