Goldeneye HD

While Nintendo is known for it's remakes, particularly with the 3DS, it's not the only company in remake town.

Goldeneye HD is coming to Xbox 360. It's a HD remake of Goldeneye 007 on wii, which was a remake of Goldeneye on N64.

Add in the crappy rouge agent cash ins and Goldeneye was milked so much I think they are getting bone marrow at this point.

For what it's worth, I like Call of Duty, and I liked Perfect Dark HD, so I will likely check this out.

Yeah, it's called Goldeneye Reloaded if I remember correctly. It will also be released on PS3.

Guest Mr. Nintendo

I guess I can say Activision is not only known for it's sequels but also remakes! They should team up with Nintendo and they both would become remake buddies! :troll:

I'm going to be honest though, I didn't enjoy the Wii version of Goldeneye as much as I liked it on the N64 so I won't be picking this up, even if it had DLC. (Also, removing Pierce Bronson and replacing him with Daniel Craig is a big mistake to me unless any of you like the new James Bond star.)

I like the new james bond, but you gotta keep it fresh with who actually played james bond in the movie. I thought Golden Eye was supposed to be HD already, but I never bought the Wii version so I might just buy the PS3 version if they have one.

Yeah, I've known about this for a while. It's interesting. I've never played the Wii remake (or even the N64 classic) so I may try this when it's out. But I don't know…I've already got Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3, possibly Skyrim…all in/around November… :o

It's not like the original one at all. It's basically Call of Duty in a new skin, with shadows of it's former self every now and again, such as the "Classic" mode where health doesn't regen, and you have to pick up body armour for "health."

N64 version was much more entertaining, imo.

Pierce was my favourite bond, but to me, I cant imagine Goldeneye without Sean Bean.

I'm actually really excited for this, because my Wii died, and I've been really wanting to play it again, good to see this.

I personally liked the new GoldenEye, so I find it cool that the other consoles are getting it as well, though I do feel a little cheated from a graphical standpoint. Seeing how the Wii U will have DLC, maybe it'll get an HD patch for the Wii version? Doubtful though.
