Redeemer
Not pics but I've been commissioned to write fanfic lol. Romance fanfic. Chapters 1 and 2: http://i--redeemer--i.deviantart.com/art/Commission-Chapter-1-A-Change-in-Paths-417940083 http://i--redeemer--i.deviantart.com/art/Commission-Chapter-2-Turn-of-Fate-417949434 This is not what I would usually write. However I am poor so. OCxJessie it is. The guy hiring me for this is actually a really nice person, he's very invested in this story.
Clearwater
You write fan-fics now?! *Loss for words*
Redeemer
Hahahaha, oh you! x3 It's kind of an experiment. You see, the commissioner noted me on dA and asked me "Would you maybe write my fanfic for me? I'll pay you", and I wanted to take the chance and write for him because I need the cash, but I also didn't want to rip him off (he seemed very eager to work with me). So I told him "okay sure, $5 a chapter is good for you?" and he was so happy with that, he bought 5 chapters worth and now we're friends! So really it was a pretty good idea, I made not only money from this, but a friend too, which is always nice. So I guess I've just added fanfics to my list of commission-able thingies. xD The only thing with writing fanfic is, I want to keep canon characters in character, but I also have to meet the demands of the person commissioning me. With Jessie, in this fanfic, I've tried to keep her harsh, slapstick personality as is in the show, but I'm being paid to write her falling in love, so I'm trying to like, introduce the softer side of her that usually no one sees, without it being out of character? Do you know what I mean? It's difficult to do this, but to be honest, people behave differently when they fall in love anyway, so who knows what Jessie would do when she met Mr. Right. xD Here's chapter 3: http://i--redeemer--i.deviantart.com/art/Commission-Chapter-3-First-Impressions-418085815

We both write fan-fics. (Except I don't upload mine to fanfiction.net, to quote Star Dragon, 'I'm like A F*****G GHOST THERE!' )

Redeemer
AAH I keep forgetting things that I've done and not posted here. I coloured one of R3dFiVe's sketches from his movie.
sjrathbun812
Oh wow, that sketch of his was one of my favorites! Great job on the coloring, Red! I would say more, but I'm not very experienced in that department, so all I can say is it looks good.

You're getting more and more awesome by the minute. (If I was only as good as you... Shame I don't know how to work my crappy version of GIMP. )
Redeemer
Thank you so much, Wolf Fang and Neoware! That's some really big compliments there, I really appreciate it! *hugs* Yeah this was actually a surprise for R3d. He's been bogged down with uni work and he's tired and stressed out, and I wanted to cheer him up. :3 He loved it, he says I've really reached a whole new level of colouring and shading and that really is what I was aiming for. I've been practicing shading for a long time now, I have so many WIP files and sketches of studies of the 3D Starfox models to really mimic how anthro characters appear when shaded. Because their skin has texture, you know? Like fur, feathers, etc. I might colour more of this stuff. Also Neoware, I recommend SAI! I used GIMP maybe 3 times and then I discovered SAI and I've never looked back.
Sarita
FireAlpaca is an option as well, I can't get it to work, but the people who have it say that it's a combination of Photoshop and SAI in all the right places. When I try to use my tablet in it the pointer and the brush don't want to line up for some reason, so I went back to SAI, but I did like what I saw of it. And it's totally free, no licence required unlike the latest versions of SAI.
psy_commando
There's also mypaint which is free and good. Personally I stick with Gimp + Gimp Extension + Gimp paint studio(tons of presets and brushes for painting or drawing in gimp without messing around). I used to stay with 2.6.2 given that on Windows the newer 2.8 was having some serious issues at refreshing the window, thanks to them switching over to a new graphics library. But now the latest 2.8.6 completely fixed hopefully.
Redeemer
Chapter 4 of the fanfic commission thingy: http://i--redeemer--i.deviantart.com/art/Commission-Chapter-4-Let-Your-Guard-Down-420209077 The plot twists a little. I'm watching this one carefully in case people pick at him for his life choices.

Scared the crap out of me when I first saw it. Nice arts
Redeemer
Thanks! ^^ I actually watched some of the movie to see what Kothoga was like in motion as I was drawing him. It actually interested me, I think I'll go back and watch the whole thing some day soon.
Drasiana
Oh, cool! I don't think I've ever seen you draw a monstery kind of thing before. Looking good so far
Redeemer
Aww thanks! I've been wanting to draw a Xenomorph from Alien but I was never confident. Then someone wanted Kothoga, and I just took it straight on and I think this is actually my favourite commission that I've ever had. I really like drawing scary things! His back foot and mouth were absolute nightmares to draw but I kind of began to think about his bone structure and that helped a LOT. Also here's something similar, a background I made for tumblr: Don't tell Kothoga he's not as kawaii as this because it will hurt his feelings. Redeemer
Latest commission, someone's friend is going away to college and he wanted to give this to her before she left. She doesn't like really MLP apparently, but he made her up an OC and everything, then asked me to make it Zelda themed, since she's a Zelda fan. What a sweetheart, I hope she likes it!
