Voice Scrambling

The Green Fox

Recommended Posts

Who else agrees that the scrambled voices on the SNES were cool? Sure when the star fox team speaks english in games like SF64 that's good too, but what would you guys think if the creators carried on the tradition of making your own jarbled speech in the NEXT star fox game? They could even have online contests through Nintendo WFC over who can make the funniest/most annoying voices through the Wii Microphone or whatever it's called.

What do you guys think? An interesting proposition?

Well, on the european version of Starfox 64, Lylat Wars, you could switch from english voices to lylatian voices, what you call "scrambled".

And if I remember correctly, you could record yourself in SFC and generate "scrambled" lines.

I believe they had that same feature for Star Fox command also if I recall correctly.

I like Fox's voice in the SNES Star Fox.

"De-de-dam-dam-dam"

Actually, he speaks at the end, when he says Pepper that he's coming back to Corneria! But his lylatian voice was pretty cool too! :3

Yes, I love the silly voices. Too bad I can not find any sound files of the chatter from the SNES game.
