I shall get my passport and we need to give this gathering a name......

Hayleycon. WE'LL MAKE IT A YEARLY EVENT. Like Elliot's Spring Gathering, except just for us! :-D

/joking about everything except the name.

ETA: *THE SADDEST FACE* I cannot find any flights that fly out of anywhere near me that would either go someplace that connects to a flight to Dundee, or goes straight there. Ballsacks. If the places near me wont fly out now, I doubt they will when the time comes. ):

Welll, A Flight out of the country can cost almost 2000, then a passport is like 150 (a guess here) and then you would want like 200 for spending. If I have enough saved up and I am feeling super generous, I can help cover a portion of the flight if possible

For the hell of it I looked up prices last night. A simple flight to Heathrow than one of two daily flights from Air France to Dundee. Total cost was around $500-550 Canadian one way. Free lodging so that's a plus! :P

HayleyCON it is!!! Also does any airport near you fly out to a major airport, because then you can snag a flight to one of the east cost Airports and then fly from there to Heathrow and then to Dundee as User was saying above.

So all the flights I have been trying to find all say that They will not service Dundee, but instead want me to fly in Edinburgh. We can always take the train from Edinburgh to Dundee So we get to fly AND take train :-D

Right now I have found a flight that will cost 1200 round trip, then the train is like 25 euros. And the train leaves relatively an hour after the time I land. So we can make this work :3

Also how long can we stay. Because using the right combination, flights are cheaper depending lol

Remember that news story from a while back when someone put a party invatation on the internet, and over 200 people turned up and ruined the house?

Something like that happened recently as well only it was like...an entire high school of over 3,000 people.

Get a flight to JFK in New York City or Atlanta (closer main hub for you), than connect to London through British Airways and then find a quick flight to Dundee. There's flights out there, you just got to know where you look. :)

Hartsford-Jackson in Atlanta is the largest airport in the world and a hub for Delta. Lots of international flights come to the city and then branch out onto smaller planes that serve the south and southeast. I haven't checked but I'm very sure she can fly to London through Atlanta as I see international destinations galore whenever I've stopped over there. Flight prices from within Europe, even in pounds, are a lot cheaper than over in Canada at least for similar distances.

I'll have to find the website again but Air France does service Dundee I believe twice daily for £69 which is about $115 USD. The distance between the cities is about 360 miles or so. I'll have to check up on Edinburgh a bit later after I contact some friends of mine in the area to ask them for their advice since they travel for competitive laser tag in the area.

PM me with the information and what months and how long you were thinking of staying for. I was thinking about two weeks would be good, depending on lodging.

So I can't sleep on your floor? D:

They were smart enough not to adopt the disaster that is the Euro. :)

One £ = roughly $1.60 something USD if memory serves me correctly.

Actually I hadn't checked Atlanta yet! That was the place I was going to check next. :P I wasn't a million percent sure I wanted to drive 8 hours to Atlanta (or pay the price to fly there from Mobile, New Orleans or Pensacola.) so I hadn't looked yet.

Yeah. Also, Dundee airport doesn't do many flights. It's tiny. You'd need to go to Edinburgh.
