So november 18th has been set for the release date. I'm pretty pumped for the game, but it's gonna destroy me for finals this year haha. Has anybody else pre-ordered the game yet?

I get this feeling that the biggest accomplishment Skyward Sword will make is opening everyone's eyes to how ball-droppingly amazing Twilight Princess was.

i think the zelda franchise in general has always been on a uphill slope, the console games have ALL been amazing and i think skyward sword will be no different. it's certainly a franchise done right so far. the handhelds are less than desirable but i think there nintendo's play toy for them to mess round with new stuff

Guest Mr. Nintendo

I'll be waiting a while until the price drop happens (Since I'm not interested in my Wii and...yeah, you'd get the point.).

I liked TP, but i think it needed more sidequests. That's why I like MM so much, was because of the sidequests. Hopefully there's plenty o' them this time around.

the only problem with MM was that it seemed like there was too much sidequest to the amount of main quest. MM would have been insanely amazing if the main quest would have been about twice as long. And as for TP, I thought it was arguably one of the best zelda games I've played so far. everyone beats on it, but it was just a solid all around game. sure there should have been a few more side quests and they should have been more inventive than throwing ganon/ganondorf in as an afterthought, but it was a great game. At first I was pissed they were going to a cell shadedish style again, but I'm going to hold my judgement until I play it.

I have not pre-ordered Skyward Sword or Battlefield 3 yet, sadly. I will, though.

And this is awesome news! :D I have a huge hunch that Skyward Sword may be the next Wind Waker (or Ocarina of Time if you're a classic Zelda fan) in the Zelda series.

It's going to surprise us all and be something truly amazing.

I like pretty much like all the Zelda games except, surprisingly, I don't care so much for the 8 bit classics. They were usually just to hard for me and kinda got boring. I like the first 8 bit classic the most though when it comes to 8 bits.

I love MM and WW a lot because in Zelda games what I usually like to do is sometimes go off rails and explore. With all the side quests and islands to explore and do, you have lots more to do other than just going through a bunch of dungeons and defeating Gannon/whoever is the bad guy.

As for Skyward Sword, I think this will be interesting, and cool.
