This was commissioned by me, and the logo added by me with photoshop later. "Star Fox: Legacy" is a highly ambitious project I began some years ago to write a complete backstory for the Star Fox series, and has gone through a number of failed attempts/reboots to get where it is now; where I am satisfied with my own writing quality. A Darker Shade of Gray "As a part of this agency, if you have to lie, cheat, steal, or otherwise disregard the established laws and morals for an operation, you're expected to do so. If you have to liaise and cooperate with individuals or institutions known to be corrupt, malevolent or otherwise twisted, you're expected to do so. If you have to completely destroy another person's life in order to keep a vital operation active, you are expected to do exactly that." Excerpt from Star Fox: Legacy. This entire fanfic has a comic book feel to it, and I'd love to actually see it in that form (and I'm not a comic book guy, so that's saying a lot). The nintendo Power comics were one of my inspirations, and I do write as if I were penning down a comic, or a film or tv series. As for the whole graphic novel thing, if there's an artist willing and dedicated enough to do it, then maybe. He's a kind of "Howard Hughes" / "Bill Gates" figure in Lylat, insofar as he's a ruthless, ambitious, progressive, visionary businessman. He started off as little more than a bit part in Legacy, but he's grown to be a major force among the cast. Mellow Walrus Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 I've seen all the Legacy art by Myu before, she's done a fantastic job. I especially like the one with Noire, even though my memories of him in the fic itself aren't quite as clear. Haven't seen the artwork by JECBrush until now, but his representation of Owen is pretty neat, and I love the design of the Space Dynamics logo. Great artwork for a great fic, I can't overstate how much I'd recommend anyone to read this. James is in the hospital recovering from an especially rough job when Vixy comes to visit, and drops a bombshell on him: she's pregnant. And now, the young couple is faced with the most important decision they've ever had to make. Awkwardness and sweetness and all that other lovely goodness ensues shortly thereafter. This is a scene from the fanfiction project "Star Fox: Legacy", one of the most powerful character moments I feel I've ever written, and one of the most powerful (at least I think so) that myuinhiding has ever drawn. There's a lot going on here that involves the story, most of which I can't give away here without the risk of spoilers. One thing for certain though is that is Krystal's Adventures staff, the character wielding it is Cerinian, and he was heavily inspired by the Star Fox fandom's "Kursed" fascination.
