This topic is especially for members that are not English, American or Japanese; in this article ( http://www.nintendow...com/video/27585 )

Nintendo communicates that voice actors are redubbed in French, Spanish, German and Italian. What do you think about after watching videos?

Personally I'm a little disappointed about the possible translation of the classic "Do a barrel roll!" :-)

Heh, the Italian version has the same voice actors from Mediaset.

Boring.

The voice of Fox McCloud is the same of the Italian Edward Elric and Ezio Auditore while I think that Falco has the same voice of James(Pokèmon).

I hate the Italian voice of Slippy.

Holy crap, no. Even tho I don't hear a spain accent on the spanish dub, it sounds boring as hell. I'm surprised they went for latin american spanish, they never do that.

Yeah, I also think spanish dub is the worst. Of all 4 european new dubbings, I think it's the german one that is the less ear-tearing! :P

(Still butthurt they didn't dubbed it in russian! Would have sounded soooo badass! :3 )

The latin american spanish.... god it does suck, normally I consider the translatons from Mexico or venezuela (the spainiards do a good job from time to time) the only good spanish translations, not because of the accent but because of the voice acting, they normally make the character sound the way is portrayed, but this time I am terribly dissappointed.

English

What can I say, I dont like the new voice acting, some are good, some are awful, yet is better than most of assault voice acting (so far).

Latin american spanish

Translations are TOO long, instead of literal translations they should have use a similar speach. Similar context, different words.

Bad acting, they sound bored. For wolf, Mexican vegueta actor should have been used, thats what i think.

Spain spanish (castellan)

i wasnt impressed at all, but wont say is worse than the latin american one.

French

I have been speaking it for a little while noe, but if am right, the 1:15 long french video is the canadian one and the 2:40 long is the french version.

French translations are regarded as being the worst in nearly all cartoons or movies, but I cant say anything myself but so far i prefer the French version.

Italian

I speak it better than french, but i have to say is the BEST voice acting from the versions uploaded.

German

I dont speak or undestand german at all but voices dont sound bad, but I have to remain impartial.

English;

S'alright. Kat's voice was the one that really irked me.

Spanish;

They sound so bored. Ugh. ):

French;

Some of the characters were switched. Blah. I didn't mind the French version though; at least they sounded more animated than the Spanish version.

Japanese;

Wasn't very big on Peppy's voice, and I burst out laughing hearing Falco. Still pretty good though.

Italian;

Wasn't too bad.

German;

Okay, the German is tied with the Japanese for my favorite. The German was actually pretty good.

Well, after playing the game in all different languages that are available in the game, I must say that I think they do did a great job on dubbing the game on every language. Of course English and German will be my most favourite together with Japanese, but after what I could hear they didn't made a too bad job on French, Spain and Italian though I don't understand a single bit. But yeah, some characters got really f*cked up. Like Sergiroth said above, Leon and Wolf have the most horrible actors on Italian language, but Wolf in German isn't better at all. He's the only character that got teared apart in our dub :/
