If they include krystal it will be with some lame staff moves. LOL it would be funny to see some Resident Evil characters in SSB. I think another story would be cool, a more expansive story line. El Zorro de la Estrella Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I think they should bring in: Krystal (Just get that out of the way first ) Tails (I think he'd be a good addition, he could be kind of like Kirby; less the inhale move) Waluigi (To team with Wario vs the Mario Bros.) Blood Falcon (Probably just a copy of Cap with altered moves, but he could make for a good Story potential) I don't think they should bring in Final Fantasy characters though. Like, there's already a FF Brawl-Type game, and the FF characters just don't seem like they'd fit in the Smash World (then again, I would've said the same about Snake before Brawl, sooo.... ) And honestly, I think with Snake coming in, Raiden being in could be cool. TheStarFoxMaster64 Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I always liked SSB for its lack-of "Mortal-Kombat-Button-Memorizing" combo system -- instead, you strung your own moves together to make your own style. I'd hate to see that go out the window after 3 uber-successful installments. It'd be cool if Nintendo branched off and gave 3rd party teams get their characters in again, but only if they did it like Brawl: only a select few (2 or 3?) are allowed, can't be clones and are interesting (like, if we had Psycho Mantis... DAMN, that'd be sweet)! If I 'really' wanted someone badly in SSB, it'd have to be Leon "Powalski"- not Kennedy. He just seems the most-prone to be fighting in SSB, and he and Wolf would make a great match-up against Fox and Falco (you know, assuming all three would be back). Krystal in SSB... meh. The staff is kinda cool and she'd probably get a nonsensical attack involving dinosaurs (Smash Attack: Dino Stampede?), but will Krystal even be considered existent in Star Fox after SF643D? --- Anybody else curious about how they plan linking 3DS and Wii-U online play? Star Fox Runner Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I'm pretty stoked about this, but Sakurai himself said that the game won't even begin development until he's done with Kid Icarus Uprising. I hate to be a killjoy, but think back to when Brawl was announced, announced in 2005, released in 2008. 3 years to develop and that game was massive. If the new Smash Bros is gonna be playable on both Wii U and 3DS, and the amount of graphical detail those can put out meaning more work to make it, I wouldn't expect this for a while. Anyway, as for roster, I definitely want to see Krystal come in, keep Snake and Sonic, and the current Pokemon roster. Sakurai actually hinted that there's a heavy chance that a Capcom character could be added to the roster this time. Now as much as I would like to see Leon S. Kennedy join the fight, (hey, Snake made it didn't he?) The only Capcom character I could see fitting in well with the Smash universe would be Mega Man. Anyway, I'm excited for this! Harlow Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I really think that you shouldn't get so out of the box, after all its' a nintendo game. So SEGA's and other invitees would be awfully tough to include at least. Other Nintendo fighters have to be relatively known or be a main guy on an internationally released game. That being said, You have to come up with characters who fit that description. Krystal doesn't sound unlikely, but I can't think of others right now... But if I threw Peppy in there, all I can think of that he'd do would be a final smash, which is like an orbital striek or something. But that it, it just doesn't fit for some reason. Thats like getting Ebanizer Scrooge to fight a Marine with a old wooden cane. Uhm the Marine would open up a can of "woop-ass" on him in ten seconds. Scourge Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Whom im crossing my fingers (and other assorted extremities) for: Shadow- Ive always been a sucker for shadow, he's like Sonic but with a back story that we give a damn about... also he skates everywhere using anti-friction shoes or whatever the hell they are. Badassness oozes from those things. Also: Chaos blast for final smash. Krystal- Suck it society. Heavy Weapons Guy- simply because the sandvich would make a great final smash (yes i know the chances of this happening are slim) Rosalina- Old favorite character of mine, couldnt wait to see the comet observatory as a combat stage :3 And last but not least... I wouldn't be getting my hopes up there... I could REALLY see Ryu from Street Fighter or Morrigan from Darkstalkers. (I swear, Capcom uses those 2 characters for almost every Capcom fighting game.) And if they added any valve characters *doesnt matter which* that would be well diffrent but cool They also need to redo the stages well some not all for example a great one would be on rayquazas back for like half the stage then get sent downt o a platform where Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre would be fighting and their attacks would hit the stage every so often. another stage that would be cool is a Final Fantasy Airship flying over Vana'Diel and you can see the cities in the background. That means that for a stock battle you can choose which character you want for each life Ex: 4 Stock lives First: Lucas Second: Fox (out when Lucas' gone) Third: Capt.
