Chrono Reaper
Would I give to have a switch to turn off that control tutorial every time I'm on Aquas, Machbeth or Titania. If you dont know what I'm talking about, whenever you play on those levels on Star fox 64 3d whether you are piloting the Blue marine or the Landmaster, the game pauses and pops up a screen to tell you how to control the vehicle. It is nice at the first time around, but when it is like your 6th or 7th time playing through the game, it gets rather annoying .
DZComposer
Seconded. It is annoying. As are the "Go take a break" interruptions.
Fluxy
I rather like the tutorials and "Go take a break" notices. I personally find it a helpful way to realize just how much time I am using to play games. Overall though, I could really care less.
Chrono Reaper
The only time I find out where you dont have those interruptions are when you play on the score attack modes.
Nope.
I rather like the tutorials and "Go take a break" notices. I personally find it a helpful way to realize just how much time I am using to play games. Overall though, I could really care less. This. It's something that just doesn't bother me at all. Guest Mr. N
Seconded. It is annoying. As are the "Go take a break" interruptions. Oh come on, it ain't as bad as the Wii interruptions. :troll:
Psygonis
It's fun how this screen incitates you to jump out of the window! :-P
kkstarfox
Hey jumping out of windows and into rip roaring action is my second favorite thing to do. First is sleeping.
DZComposer
Oh come on, it ain't as bad as the Wii interruptions. It IS as bad. The only difference is the picture of ROB64 instead of the picture of an open window.
Fluxy
It IS as bad. The only difference is the picture of ROB64 instead of the picture of an open window. It's really not all that bad, Lol. I mean, that notice can save them from a lot of possible liability too, as you can get around warnings in packets nowadays. Plus, It isn't that hard a task to simply press A again. Psygonis
^ True that. The game doesn't force you to have a 15 minutes break for each hour of playing.
LoneWolf
^ True that. The game doesn't force you to have a 15 minutes break for each hour of playing. Not to mention SF64 should not take more than an hour to beat.
ThePointingMan
Not to mention SF64 should not take more than an hour to beat. I like to beat it multiple times in one sitting though The go take a break thing I can handle, but being forced into tutorials on how to drive landmaster ect will just... RAWR! Chrono Reaper
[EDIT] It is almost like Nintendo is saying "Hey stupid, if you haven't figured out how to control the Landmaster for the hundredth time, here is the tutorial window again." It's almost up there with Castlevania II Simon's quest with the "What a horrible Night to have a curse" and "The morning sun has vanquished the horrible night", that pop up to transition the levels from day to night. TheRedFox8
I would give anything to be able to skip the tutorial on Kingdom Hearts II XD
DZComposer
Not to mention SF64 should not take more than an hour to beat. This. This is the whole reason the message is unnecessary.
Rik McCloud
Probably is a clever way to get people to stretch out the run through a little more, adding perceived length. That and didn't the Virtual Boy ask the same things on the box? Guess it's just a way for Nintendo to protect themselves from the crowd who threw their Wiimotes into the TV from going permanently cross eyed. Fluxy
This. This is the whole reason the message is unnecessary. If it sends the message just in general, and not only in story, some people might be seen playing it a lot with multiplayer. Hell, me and a few friends plan on doing that out here. [Yeah, I made friends who got the games. xPP]
tupelocase
What really makes me mad is that it's a Portable Game for 'Casual Play' Even though a lot people don't play it that way.. It's just not necessary for a game most people would play on a commute, the commode, etc. Newbie Post 2/5 o(^â–½^)o
