My Krystal wallpaper

I believe this fits in the Krystal fanart topic more then creating a topic on it's own for it. And we have all probably seen this poster before so it's nothing new.

What do you mean?

I mean I made it myself not copied.

Then it defiantly should have been placed in the fanart section. Also seeing as the only differences in the scene are the two icons you added there doesn't seem to be anything interesting about it.

I'd say this is "fanart", but all you really did was stick the Star Fox logo in there and write "Krystal" on it. The Star Fox logo is really badly pixellated by the way; you could probably find a better-quality version of it.

yeah, sure but I was bored and didn't feel like making a big project

Indeed, this would have been better suited for the Fanart section since you made it yourself. :)

I'll move the topic there.

Spending ten more seconds on Google to find a better-quality version of the logo to copy-paste into Photoshop does not constitute a "big project".

Come on Dras', for some out there, copy-pasting things in Paint is non-trivial already, you can't expect everyone to do things "properly"... ^^'

bam

that took five seconds

I don't expect him to paint a masterpiece with Paint for funsies, but if you're going to cobble together a bunch of images then stick them online expecting praise, then you should probably put some effort into it.

Meh, I don't think this is worth getting all worked up over.

It's not a matter of "being worked up", it's a response to his question of what we thought, and I thought he could've just used a nicer-quality logo for a picture that's otherwise just a render from Star Fox Assault.

I think it's pretty neat for a quick project. k_e_smile.gif

Not every project needs to be ace ;)

As Dras said, it's not a matter of being super intense. It's a matter of caring enough about your artwork to try even a little bit in making it good. All it takes is a quick Google Images search to get a good quality logo, as Dras also pointed out.

Dras is being helpful. Those of you padding artists' egos with empty compliments are not.

I think it's alright. The edges around Krystal's tail and shadow could be softened so it doesn't look as much like a quick Paint job. Also, maybe remove Krystal's name from the corner. It takes away from the symmetry that you've created and, well, we all know who she is.

Well for your information I have dial up internet and for the krystal writing I made in a text design program and For everything else I did in corel paint shop pro x2. And at least I don't have blurry picture of krystal. AND if you feel so strongly about the quality of the logo then please feel free to message me and tell me what you think.

Thank

Dude, I linked a better quality logo. It's a matter of copy and pasting, not a serious offense on your creative spirit. Chill out.

Woah, uh, yeah. There's no need to get so defensive over this. You asked for people's opinions on what you made and you got them. Just because someone doesn't gush doesn't mean you need to take what they've said as a jab at you personally. If you aren't sure if you can handle a critique of something, then don't ask for someone's opinion on it or showcase it at all - it'll just lead to people getting upset over nothing.

Dras didn't necessarily "cushion" what she said, but it's in no way blunt to the point of being offensive. Besides, what she said is completely valid.

Ok, I would like to say sorry for the blurry logo. I promise my future work will be much better, and sorry if it looked like i rushed.

Thanks =D
