"User"
I attempted to make my first TF2 video, it's a minute and a half long and very simple and basic. It's a scout having some fun and then trying for a cap only for it to end in failure. While recording this my frame rate was dropping so I missed a couple of easy shots and had difficulty getting out the water. Let me know what you guys think. "User"
I tried recording this today to practice for regarding SF-O game nights. I recorded a demo in game and then played it back while using Fraps to record it. The file size of course with Fraps is ridiculously large so I used the Xvid codec in conjunction with VirtualDub to make it smaller without losing any quality. I then uploaded it to Youtube. From what I can gather if the server changes maps while you are recording a demo the demo stops recording, saves, and then another demo file is generated and resumes recording when the next map starts. So you had a demo file named called StarFoxOnlineGamenight and the map changes, another file would start recording named StarFoxOnlineGamenight_2. If I am successful tonight in recording would it be better to just combine all the files into one and then upload it? (No idea how to do that) or just upload the separate files and name them according to the map? The video can be played in 720 and 1080 as well btw. I gotta always remember what my loadout is because as you can see twice in this video I attempted to pull out my pistol to finish someone off only to pull out Bonk! and be like "Shit...run!" lol
"User"
Highlander match on TF2lobby last night. I didn't do as well as I would have liked, adjusted a lot better later in the match but still at the beginning I made some silly mistakes which involves some deaths that could have been avoided (like my first death) It was a pretty challenging match, one of the better one's I've played on TF2lobby. "User"
I made my official UGC debut last night as a backup for some pony team that a few of my friends were on. I recorded demos and uploaded them. I originally posted screenshots here. It was a lot of fun and I'm enjoying the caliber of the people I'm meeting on the PF2 servers. I was glad that I could play and help. Round 1 Round 2 I wish the quality of the videos were like my other ones (forgot how to increase the quality)
Ori
(I think I should leave this here as it's a sticky...) Behold, my horribleness! Please excuse the micspammers on the server. :V I've been looking for proper leads into TF2, so I thought should record something so people could point out some fails and whatnot.
