jesseboyd7
What do you guys like better? Book files on PDFs, on iPads, Amazon Kindles, and other electronic devices? Or do you like the actual physical book better? If you vote one of those answers explain why. Your take SF fans:
Sarita
I have a Nookcolor and I have a whole lot of books. I like my Nook because I don't have to carry all the books I'm reading at once everywhere. I'm starting to buy less physical books in favor of their ebook counterpart, though. Not many comics for Nook, though.
King of the Shrooms
I much prefer electronic books for the reason sarita said, i HATE having to carry the mother-load of books when i can keep it all on one handy electrical device! (that and books are a little more flammable...or so they say =P)
Dublinthefox
I like both. For when I'm at home I like the physical version, but if its something like traveling and I can't bring that much then I'll read from my ipod-touch......Yeah I can't affored a Kindle or an ipad. <_<
Rin
Physical books. I don't even have one of those Nooks or iPads anyway.
Asper Sarnoff
Haven't used an E-book yet, but I'm pretty sure I'd still prefer a good, old paper book instead. It's just a good feeling holding something with a bit of heft to it, and reading physically, flicking page over page. I don't think E-books would give the same satisfaction. E-books will however be cheaper, and more enviromentaly friendly in the long run, and if you like me have a house that looks like a library, you'd appreciate the considerably smaller space they would take up. Guest Mr. N
I prefer using a Physical Book than a E-Book. (I don't see what the hype is with E-Books other than you can store books in it and you don't have to carry many books at once)
Asper Sarnoff
Carrying many books at once if good excersize btw! Bookcarrying made me strong! RARG!

myu
REAL books ftw. I don't have a problem with e-books, but there's something about holding the physical book with all those pages in my hands, and something about the smell too. That might sound weird, but book smells are pretty awesome D:
chaos_Leader
Never tried e-books myself, so I can't say for sure. I am curious though to see how the two compare. (Edit) For now at least, I'm still an old fashioned paper book person. Edited October 21, 2011 by chaos_Leader
Star Fox Runner
Paper books all the way, there's just something about old fashioned paper that I find more enjoyable than looking at an electronic screen.
El Zorro de la Estrella
Paper books. I mean, you just can't get that feeling of reading a book if you are reading it off a electronic device.
Psygonis
I haven't tried e-books for long enough to say. But I guess I'd go for paper books. I like turning pages! :P
Nope.
Both. I don't have problems about carrying tons of books, and physical ones just... feel better in general. Still, carrying around a weightless library is also a nice thing. That might sound weird, but book smells are pretty awesome D: Yup. :
jesseboyd7
Well just today I have recevied my A+ Complete Study Guide (701 & 702 essentials) book. It's a study guide for the computer hardware and software technician. Was so impressed to have in my hands to read it physically. I had the PDF file book for a while and got tired of reading the first few chapters. I don't like reading books on my computer screen. It deludes my eyes so I have to look away for a few seconds and continue to read where I left from. The kindle looks interesting because its produces a murcury screen in black and white. I thought about getting one sometime and share it with you guys on that.
