(lol I just got the joke. That was funny.)

"Yeah, you're riding with me," Kyle responded. "Just follow me. Luke, James, Armagistra, what's your status?"

The only sound from the Radio on Balsa's End was the rushing of wind.

Finally. "Sorry about that, wasnt the smartest thing ive ever done."

From outside, a wire crashes against the building, a smug looking, panting Balsa on the ground.

"im out of the hotel, gonna sneak aboard someones freighter, dont worry about me."

Luke responded to Kyle on his comm. set,"I'm waiting in the lobby for you two, and so is the clerk."

"Tell them I said to hurry up I haven't got all day" the clerk said in a joking manner

"heh ok", Luke responded.

Kyle headed down to the lobby to turn in his and Star's room key, and then greeted Luke. "Luke, where's James?"

"He's at his house" Luke replied to Kay.

taking the key-card Luke turned to the counter and handed them over and said to the clerk,"СпаÑибо, что Ñообщили мне и моим друзьÑм оÑтатьÑÑ Ð½Ð° ночь."

"Vatn wenn," Kyle said. "Let's head to our starships and get moving." He turned to Star, then added, "My JX70 is in landing bay two. Follow me."

"Not long," Kyle responded. "C'mon - and stick close to me." Kyle then moved out, keeping his AR635A2 visible to all potential trouble-makers. He led Star out into the city, and not even two minutes later, came across Landing Bay Two, where his JX70 was kept.

"Computer," Kyle said, "Disengage anti-theft security system, authorization Kilo-India-seven-seven-four."

"Command confirmed," the computer droned. "Welcome back, General Indari."

Kyle turned to Star. "Nifty, no?" he popped the hatch, entered the craft - which looked somewhat bigger on the inside than the outside - and settled in to the pilot's seat. There was no visible window or viewport to see outside the craft, everything being seen by sensors and virtually-indestructable external cameras. Kyle brought the JX70's main power online, calling out to Star, "Come on in - and shut the hatch behind you, please. After that, hit the little blue button to the left of the hatch."

"Nice ship." Balsa said from laying on the floor, her position unmoved from watching them enter the craft.

From her position, she brandishes a bottle of something.

"Anything to drink besides this Ale swill?"

(Somehow, BW, I saw that coming.)

"Yeah," Kyle responded. "There's Kemorainian mead, Dragonarian, Corellian and Romulan Ale, Klingon Blood Wine, and a stock of Vanilla Cola in the fridge... the one at the foot of the port-side bed, opposite to where you are."

"Who, the rebels?" Kyle asked. "Darling, if I knew, I'd tell you. For now, let's focus on the mission at hand." There was a slight beep from the button Star pushed, and Kyle started the take-off procedure. The JX70's hull vibrated as it pushed off the deck, rising above the landing bay. Once he was sufficiently high, Kyle said to his two passengers, "Hang on to something back there."

In a roar of afterburners, the JX70 accelerated, up through the atmosphere of the planet and into Space.

"Kyle to Luke and James, what's your status?" Kyle asked over a private channel.

"Idealism" Balsa said, Chugging a bottle of something

"Freedom, Not wishing to be apart of the oppressive government" She stretched and resumed her place on the floor.

"It seems to me the rebels have a point, but i ma not paid to ponder the other side's validity."

Luke jumped in his Arwing after he stashed his gear in the cargo compartment and he then signaled Kay

"ready when you are", he said over his comm unit.

"Neither am I," Kyle said. "The pay for eliminating these rebels is top-notch. Frankly, I don't give a--"

"Alert," the computer droned, "New contacts, bearing one-eight-zero, aft."

Kyle tapped a few commands to the computer, and identified the targets; six Rebel Typhoon-class Interceptors.

"Dammit," Kyle cursed. "We've got company!" He tapped in another command, and hatches on the floor and in the ceiling opened, ladders descending or ascending to connect. "Balsa, take the Ventral turret; Star, take the Dorsal-Aft turret. Keep the enemy fighters off me while I heat the Translight systems!" Re-opening the comm channel, Kyle exclaimed, "Luke, James, I've been engaged by hostile forces! Where the hell are you guys?!"

"im afraid i cannot" Balsa said, still drinking something from the fridge.

"My conditions for the trail are i cannot use anything not scavenged." She motions to the turret

"That is by far not scavenged" She doesn't keep resting though.

"If you open the airlock, i could do something" she says, clutching her spear.

"If you wanna commandeer one of the rebel craft, be my guest," Kyle said. "There's an isolated airlock near the Ventral turret, in the aft of this ship. Knock yourself out.."

Star was already firing at the enemy craft. One of them was caught by surprise and shredded by the weapons Star fired.

(Gotta run to work. I'll be back later tonight.)

"No, i was gonna chillaxe and escape Mrs. massacre down there" Balsa said, albiet with sarcasm leeking out of every pore.

But indeed she simply sat down next to the door, her eyes dropping like weights.

Just as soon as a rebel was about to impact the freight Luke shot it down at the last second,"Sorry I'm late guys" Luke replied over the comm

"I had a few 'issues' to take care of", he added

"That's nice," Kyle said. "Now how about keeping these bastards off me 'till I get the translight drive going?" One of the rebel fighters had an engine problem, and overshot the JX-70. Kyle was quick to seize the advantage and blew the fighter apart with the burst-fire disruptors. "Somebody contact James, tell him to get up here before he gets left behind!"

"Hang on, Star!" Kyle called up to Star. He did a barrel roll as he set the ventral turret to Automated mode, and it automatically began assisting Star.

"Alert," the computer droned, "forty-five seconds to Translight initiation."

"Luke," Kyle said over the radio, "we've got forty-five seconds 'till I open a Translight portal! when it opens, follow me through! I can't guarantee it won't close again after I go through!"
