Krystal, though certainly dressed the part, doesn't act the part at all. If she were dressed more conservatively, would you still think she's a whore? I didn't see anything that implied anything, cause she certainly didn't. These kinds of poses and a few others. And the fact she's had +0 character development (and I mean real development) and only stands in to make those corny moments of Fox blushing in Assault or to "telepathically" sense distress signals. Alot of people in South America go around in loincloths and no one's calling them harlets. And in fact, some of them even go naked! Oh no! We have slutty people in the Amazon! I don't remember making any observation about her clothing. Now, I don't care what you think about Krystal, but I just feel like defying opinion with logic today. Indeed, like how you logically assumed I was basing my judgements on her clothing Krystal is an arctic blue fox (yes, there is such thing. They live a bit further south than regualr arctic foxes do. But they're more of a grey color than actually blue. xD). Indeed, Genus alopex lagopus, Which is just called the Arctic Fox, they are all the same breed, coloration differs only by current climate. But there is no canon statement to her breed. Actually there is visual evidence to the contrary, arctic foxes usually have blunt stocky muzzles and rounded ears, Krystal has a narrow muzzle and pointed ears. and it would likely be hot on Sauria. Arctic foxes are built for cold weather, and usually have thick fur. It'd probably be really hot for her, so she decides to wear light clothing. No temperature-regulated environmental combat suit? So it's her "sexy" poses that give you that impression? Fair enough, but remember that those poses are for marketting. She doesn't do that kind of thing in-game. Since it's a video game, there's no way to know the true her. Don't feel like ranting out of nowhere, since this isn't a great place to attempt. She's nice, and sweet, and her hair is cool and beaded, and I don't exactly know most of the other female characters that came into the games before she did so she's my favorite female character. But other than that.....I don't really think she's all that awesome. I can't say anything about obsession, because I'm an obsessive fan for other things, and that would make me a hypocrite. Used to like her, but she REALLY doesn't appear to impact the story more than being the T&A of Star Fox. Clothing suggests this, as well as the countless fanboys. Sheesh, I mean, also from her dialogue, I can't really derive a persona from her... She seems to be kind, but that's all... And why did she join SF anyway? >_> In case some forgot, she was first and foremost looking for her past. WhatEVER happened to this mission? She never mentions it to Fox, as well as... V-Starfox Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 A 2 for me, though I sometimes border 3. I do like her...deep down. I want to think she's sweet and brave. I could care less about the circumstance; I like that they brought in a female SF team member. I like that she brings out a new side of Fox and adds a little more emotion in the games. However, I sometimes have trouble liking her just because of the way people see her...I mean, at times it's really quite insane. Even this topic says to me she's a bit too popular. But you know what? It's not her fault fans can take things to far...and there's porn of everything, and porn is almost by definition out of character, so you can't go by that either. ...And despite all this controversy I still think she's better than Fara, and Miyu and Fay don't (yet) count as real StarFox characters in my book. So yes...I like her. I like to think I like her for the RIGHT reasons I really agree with that. It's not her fault that fanboys and all those people go so far...
