ONE_HELLCAT
Sweet, although this should be in the portable section, sweet. This shows that there's voice acting, if you listen carefully, and cool multiplayer.
Guest PhazonFox
Awesome. It's nice that you can actually see and hear the lasers ricochet away from the wings when you barrel roll again. The fact that it was left out in Assault still irks me. The voices sound like the classic gibberish instead of actual voice acting, but I can't tell for sure. ONE_HELLCAT
Yeah actually, I've been watching it repeatedly and it seems that way.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Methinks it's gibbberish as well. But awesome find! Have you ever considered espionage Mr. Showtime?
Blaz3
That's awesome!!!! Yay, proper gameplay! Ok now, I like it too that bullets bounce off your wings when you roll, I always wonder whether I've been hit or not on Assault, I hope they make it a little more obvious when you get hit by anything that something actually happens unlike in assault where you suddenly realise that you've lost both wings and have minimal health, that sucks. Oh and my last point is, THEY'RE DOING VOICEOVERS!!!! thank goodness, I remember playing Star Fox on SNES and it always annoyed me that you couldn't just listen to them, you had to read it and that took precious time. Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I hope the VA is clear and concise. You really don't want something like Resident Evil Deadly Silence, where everyone sounds like they're constipated. "Jill.......don't...... open.......THAT DOOR!" (Something like that)
Blaz3
^^^ lol yeah, that was really bad voice acting. I'm fairly sure that Nintendo wouldn't let a game like Star Fox have bad acting. I think it will be done well.

Sol-Ratcht Saporro
^Z-Z-Z-ZING! Hopefully Nintendo will learn from their critiques. For me, it's not THAT big a deal as supposed to gameplay and replay value.
Blaz3
^^^ Oops... Assault right? my bad! Just watching the ad again, does anybody else think that the loop animation is a bit hard to see? I don't really like it. I also worry about Fox' voice, It sounds really unlike him.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Loop Animation? Eh? Help me out here Fox of Fire. (Sorry, I'm slow on alot of these terms....) But, I loved the Mothership stage. Makes me think that Bill's gonna have his welcome back serenade in that stage.
SabreMc
As nothing was repeated in it, he mosty likely meant the part where the Arwing did a loop and/or/U-turn
Blaz3
Thanks Shadow, exactly. The ship moves really fast and goes really small, the first time I saw it, I was like "what happened?" Then I watched it a couple of times and saw the ship doing a loop.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Oh okay, Thanks Shadow. Well, I couldn't tell that if it was bad or not. I guess I didn't pay much attention to the commercial.
EvolutionSFox
I hate holding the stylus while holding the DS at the same time. I hope you can just use both hands without the style to play the game.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I'm guessing you can switch controller config to just using L and R to barrel roll and use the regular DS as you would a SNES controller never having to use the stylus. But you still need it to draw out the route you wanna take.
Ramuza
^ I'd like that controller idea... more like Metroid Prime Hunter's Dual *something* controls
Blaz3
I dunno... I quite like the idea of total stylus movement. You can always hold it so your left hand (or right hand if you are going to hold the stylus in your left hand) doesn't come around the DS' front and you just use the L or R button to shoot. That's how I plan to play.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
^Yah. Nintendo better have an alternate to using the stylus. But I'm confident that they will because all the games have been like that since Super Mario 64 DS. Go Alternate Controls!
