What is probably the greatest Skyrim mod, next to the one that turns horses into the ponies.

Skyrim = Killing Dragons, Absorbing Souls, and really putting a boom in to a thu'um.

I'm playing it on my brother's PS3 while I'm fulfilling my familial obligations for the holidays and remaining in the country and I didn't realise that the difference in graphical quality would be so vast. It looks worse than the lowest settings on my PC and my PC's nothing special.

Still, I'm not going to not play Skyrim just because of bad graphics; it's still better than the shakes.

Prepare to eventually get bored, and go back to Elder Scrolls III.

I'm onto my 3rd character, making my total playtime 460 hours.

I need a job.

The last position I was in ended November 10th.

I was not too upset to be leaving that place.

Edit: I tell a lie, it was actually a nice place to work, I just can't complain about all this free Skyrim time.

I'll be back to work later this month. Until then, there's plenty of Skyrim to be had; gives me yet another way to indefinitely procrastinate things like school work, story-writing and other such.

I have gone crazy with charecter creation.

I have an Argonian Berserker: Raze

I have a Nordic Battlemage: Anatolias (I made the Emperor from Warhammer 40k)

I have a Roman Soldier: Juleus

I have a Khajitt Brawler: Le' Punchy

And im currently about to make another, A wood elf who specializes in hunting Aminals.

I'm working on mainly two characters right now.

HgAFd.jpg

This is Falcoran, a Breton ubertank battlemage type. I normally don't play warrior fighter types, but he turned out to be pretty fun. The breton magic resistence bonus, plus magic resistance perks of alteration, and the dragon pirest mask Otar makes him near impervious to magical attack. The heavy armor, magical armor spells and shield handle the physical side well enough. restoration magic patches him up good as new if by some chance he gets hurt.

This is I'shiátt, my thief who turned into a wizard. Mainly he's a sneaky thief type augmented with a ton of illusion magic for turning invisible, making enemies attack each other. Uses the Sanguine Rose a lot to summon a little helper, as few things scream "Distraction!" quite like a rampaging bloodthirsty Dremora hellbent on squewering my enemies with a daedric greatsword. Combat is mainly handled with dual-wielding sword+dagger, but usually by then I've cleared out most of the mob by other means, and actual knuckle-dusting combat is just quick cleanup.

These two guys play with extraordinarily differnet styles, but both fun in their own right. If anyone's interested, I can post video of these characters in action. Falcoran in particular would be fun to watch, charging into the heat of battle and barely getting a scratch on him. I'shiátt may be interesting, but I'm not sure how much fun watching enemies attack each other from a frenzy spell or getting ravaged by a dremora would be; I have possibly the laziest combat style in existence for I'shiátt.

I recently deleted all of my progress and started from scratch; taking a different turn in character creation this time around has proved to be a much more fun experience. Rather than using a two-handed weapon I've decided upon a sword and shield, not to mention that the Khajiit are quite fun to play as! ^_^
