Quoux Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 Hey there! I am a long time fan of Starfox who actually wasn't a fan for about 6 years! Haha, weird, yeah. But, Got back to the fandom eventually, and I thought "These are some cool characters, why don't I draw them?" Cause' I just love the characters (Some more than others ) And so here ya go! Now I know my art is terrible, but some people have begged to differ and have actually asked me to do some art. Some asked for a comic (Which may or may not be surfacing, who knows?) But what I'm most interested in is Cerinia, and the culture of the Lylat system. By culture, I mean rough alleyways and bars and stuff that one might see on, oh, I dunno, star wars or something. But I have some fan art here, thought I might as well put some on here. I'm completely new, I apologize, but I was hoping I could just go ahead and post some stuff These are the type of pictures that you have to click on for full view, I believe. I also apologize for drawing in pencil, I realize how that is becoming more and more shunned, mainly because of normal scanner quality. But, I hope to be getting one of those drawing tablets so that I can trace my art and turn it into vector. Unfortunatly, I don't have time to draw all the Starfox fanart I would like to, mainly because it's not my favorite type of art. Woah, totally never been seen before... haha jk But If I was to make a Starfox comic he'd be a character. He is a High Royal Guard of Cerinia, meaning he protects the planet's royalty, of which apparently Krystal is. He is basically one of their best bodyguards, among ten others. Their whole lives are highly devoted to protecting the royalty. Here's the cheesy part: he's 23 and he had an encounter with a spirit similar to the Krazoa when he was 17, and in exchange for releasing it from it's prison, he was granted 40 years of experience in everything he does. He became a master at the sword, aim, and parkour, and he was more mature at 17 than most his age. He lived on the streets and found the spirit trapped in a lap. Only if someone with no parents (i.e. Fyre,) would break the lamp, would the spirit be set free. As fate would have it, that's what happened. This and that happened, he was made a High Royal Guard, and he chased after Krystal when she flew off in her space ship, the day of the Cerinian disaster. Had they done they're jobs, as they were expected to do, the other 10 guards would have chased her down as well to protect her. Except, she had left before them and her ship was hardly affected by the impact of the disaster. Fyre's ship, however, crashed on a planet just beyond Sauria. But he had sworn his life to protect the royal family, and as the last survivng member, he would do anything to find and protect Krystal. Blah blah blah, cheesy. Anyway, here's the next one: This is Krystal and the Cloudrunner, and the Cloudrunner is what I mostly focused on. Quoux Posted December 14, 2011 Author Share Posted December 14, 2011 Well in that case, I shall! But unfortunately, it's just another character from my fanfiction for now. He is the seventh of the eleven High Royal Guards of Cerinia. He is a fox, just like most, but he is thirty years old and incredibly good with a sword. In fact, granted all the weapons at his disposal, the sword is the only weapon he has ever chosen. Not once has he picked up a gun, nor anything of the sort. Even if the sword is broken and frayed, he prefers it over any other. Of course, a broken and frayed sword in his hand is as dangerous as a regular one. He shares the same desire as Fyre to protect the royalty of Cerinia. Maybe, just maybe... he may have survived the Disaster. Fyre can only hope. Just a sketch. I am contemplating on making my next art endeavour a Starfox art. My main style is crosshatch, and as far as I know I've never drawn anything Starfox in my true style. Would you all rather see something epic in that style? Or just more character sketches? Either is fine with me. I just need some inspiration, cause I can't choose one or the other myself.
