Before I go on, first, read what you can of Star Fox: Marauder. Then, read the spoiler:

Prologue

With the initial preparations out of the way, Star Fox celebrated it’s latest victory. During the celebration, Kyle wandered away from the group to stare into the Saurian moonlit sky. Krystal noticed, and walked over to him.

“Baby, is everything alright?†she asked.

“I’m fine, sweetheart,†Kyle responded. “Just thinking past all this.â€

“What do you mean?†Krystal inquired.

Kyle sighed. “This isn’t the end, you know – our adventures don’t end here,†Kyle explained. “There will be other threats like Tondam – others who will want to destroy us.â€

“Then we will face them as we always have,†Krystal said softly. “I’d rather face them with you than without you.â€

“I know,†Kyle murmured. “As long as I have you, I will never--â€

Krystal grabbed Kyle’s muzzle and silenced him. With a smile, she asked, “Anyone ever tell you you talk too much?â€

Kyle chuckled, leaning over and meeting Krystal’s lips with his own. They kissed, the Dragon-shifter husband and the Cerinian wife, as the Star Fox Team rejoiced...

… That was three years ago. Kyle’s powers, after marrying Krystal, calming his rage and coming to terms with his troubled past, have expanded. The bond between them was strong – when one of them grew in power, so did the other. Like Fox and Fara, they loved each other with a passion few could understand.

The dark lord known as Makron was executed months ago, much to the relief of Kyle. With no new threat presenting itself, Star Fox went on shore leave to Corneria. In an odd twist of fate, Kyle received two lightsabers in the mail, sender unknown, leaving only a note that read, “These belonged to me before my life was stolen – it seems fitting that, since you are my only other, they be given to you.â€

Though confused at the message, Kyle went on with the vacation with his wife. Little did he realize, dark forces gather on the horizon. Old hatreds still linger, old mysteries remain unsolved, and a new enemy will rise against the galaxy to carry on the ancient battle of good and evil...

Now, I've hit a bit of writer's block, and I was wondering what you, the SF-O community, would like to see. If you have other ideas that differ from what choices I've given, please, speak them.

And if this is the wrong area for a poll like this, forgive me.

... I see two votes. Now I'd like to hear the reasoning behind them.

I chose the third option for the simple reason that I find it a bit more interesting than the others. Option one would definitely work with no problems, but there isn't much substance there; it seems a bit standard. Option two is an absolute bombshell to drop; it is a bit to needy for controversy in my opinion. Options four and five I assume would also work, but I'd need to have more bits of the story to gauge whether it would fit (i.e. were Xenomorphs ever mentioned or are they just pulled out of the blue? Would option five be changing the focus of the story too much?).

I invite you to share ina colaberation beetween Arashikage and myself. Note that while your ideas can have the potential to be used, that does not guarentee that you will have control over where the story goes.

Aslo note that i voted for number 4 simply because it isnt the run of the mill Dragon-whatever they are called and of coarse the Alien.

The other stories seem really far fetched, to get back on topic. Turning Fox into an Anthro/Dragon/biggerdragon Tribrid the most egregrious.

The first one is dependant on the audiance Seeing the "Only thing they fear" As a viable threat, rather a Stock mysterious shadow in the fore ground.

The second one assumes that When females get Teh Preggorz that they immediatly try and hide it due to Shame/Fear/Hormones.

The fifth one takes a basic emotion and turns it into some sort of Green eyed monster.

Before I get too off topic, I chose the last one, it seems the most feasible option.

Okay, two votes for scenario #3 - I have crazyfooinc's reasons, what are yours, Zack?

really the same thing, #2 is interesting but a major bombshell and most probably wouldn't like that, #4 and #5 would be ok but would (like CrazyFooinc said) would need more explanation and would stray a bit from the main story line, #1 it would be the seconded one I would go with it's typical but good to go with, #3 this one is the best in my opinion it is standard but with a surprise in it it's a small bombshell but in a good way.

My reasoning is that it gives Krystal and co. the most "interesting" scenario which they have to deal with. It also has a high probability of drama.

You need to remember who's voting in these polls. Anything like this that involves Krystal in some bizarre situations is likely to receive the most votes I'd think.

Anyway I picked #3. Kind of generic, but it's got good fan potential without being overly dramatic.
