Christmas Wish List

Star Fox Runner

We all have one, no matter how old we are. So what's on yours?

Mine is relatively short this year.

Mario Kart 7

A wooden sculpture of an F-22 Raptor and P-51 Mustang

And Deus Ex: Human Revolution

I keep it short so if people get me anything else, it'll truly be a surprise.

I'd love to build/get a capable gaming PC, preferably a desktop. If not, I'd be perfectly contented with a Maglite ML125, or possibly even a new camcorder with better battery-life.

A camcorder good enough to shoot a feature film, but those are expensive, so I just asked for a game (Rage), a CD (Iowa: 10th Anniversary by Slipknot) and a ton of Criterion Collection DVDs.

Also, if you didn't click to view, it's NSFW so you get the idea.

I just realized you're from Bellevue! I live in Council Bluffs. :-)

Hmm...that's a bit odd; I don't see Krystal anywhere in that image. For shame, Wes, for shame.

Haha, didn't think of that one, :D.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind a few more SD cards either; preferably with a high capacity ^_^ .

I didn't really ask for much this year as there isn't really much I actually -want- [forgeting the fact I usually wasn't able to ask for much in the past]. But people did pester me for if I got something what I'd like. So I basically had a small list.

* New earpieces [Not the kind that penetrate my ear]/Headphones [only if they are flexible enough so they don't break like many others]

*All Orcs Must Die. I wanted it since it came out, but not enough to put money in it myself to get it, so I thought it'd be a good choice.

*Magica [The Collection] cause, well... it's just pure, magic, blasting. Also creating your own spells and all. Really fun game when you just wanna bust things up with no care. [Disclaimer: I am buying myself this on the 25th anyhow, so It really isn't a want, even.]

*Riot Points for League of Legends. I play enough where I use them for when a certain champion or skin is on sale, I'll get them, but it isn't necessary. Still a nice thing to have though.

I don't want anything, I just want to be able to get through this winter. If you guys saw my new deviantART journal, you'll know what I'm talking about. If anyone has any great tips on saving electricity or making it last longer, I'd greatly appreciate it. <3

First and most important thing to do is, disconnect the electronics that you don't use, most stuff sucks power even when they are off (might be a tiny bit, but if you combine everything, it matters). Buy power saving light bulbs, they might cost a little bit more than your conventional bulbs, but your savings will reflect on that meaty power bill, some of them provide more light than your average bulb too so you can get away with less wattage per bulb.

Aside that, there's not much you can do. If you plan on buying any kind of electronic, make sure to check how power friendly it is, specially when it comes to kitchen appliances, since refrigerators and microwaves are power hunger suckers.
