TCPeppyTc
For all you "Game of Thrones" fans out there who should succeed Robert Baratheon and why?
Drasiana
I missed this thread. Um...it's hard to say at this point (and I haven't read the books sssshhh) but Daenerys seems to be the least dickish and more innocently motivated, she seems like she'd be the most just. Joffrey can go suck a longsword
TCPeppyTc
Perhaps Dany should have it, she seems nice and wholesome enough. Considering of course that she hasnt inherited her familys "crazy gene". Though perhaps Jon Snow should be it, since he deserves a nice break of some kind. My biggest question is with all the incestuous children in this series ( Dany + joff) none of them are severly disabled?
Drasiana
I don't really see Jon Snow as making a good king; at least not for a while. He's really emotional and impulsive right now, which doesn't really help anyone. As far as the incest thing goes idk Dany's a dragon and Joff suffers from "intolerable little puke" syndrome as far as I'm concerned. I thought it was sort of implied though that Tyrion's dwarfism comes from the fact that the Lannisters like boning their siblings?
TCPeppyTc
Not quite Dras. The Targaryens are the incestuous ones. They disdain the blood of common humans, thinking inbreeding gives them speshul powers. Tyrions dwarfism was caused by the author wishing to make life hard for his characters. I suppose you are right about Jon Snow. He is too much of an emo kid, both on screen and in the books. Ned would make a great king, at least compared to his bacchanalian friend Robert. Drasiana
When Ned confronted Cersei about the whole "illegitimate incest child" thing she said that the Lannisters tend to inbreed to preserve the bloodline. So both houses get incesty. Ned would have been an awesome king but I guess that isn't happening ):
