Drasiana
so hitler wouldn't have played starfox, he would have played skyrim

Wes
Hm. I've been hearing a lot about connections between Nazism and the furry fandom. Anyway OP, I wasn't a big fan of SF Command, the game play was slow and choppy. The story line leaves you clueless as to which ending is part of the main story line or not. Aside from that, you might like it. Watch some Youtube videos before you decide whether or not you want to get it.

Thu'um
regardless of what ever the game did to you guys it effected me in a major way. regardless of how insignificant the game is, the changes the occurred in my life because of it were far from minor. CrypticQuery
I'm sorry, but all this talk about Hitler on the first page makes me want to post this; __ In all honesty I wasn't thrilled by Command; it was the epitome of a failed portable installment IMO. The story was lackluster, even more so than other games in the series, character traits and personalities were changed, gameplay was slow and occasionally annoying, and the timer, while providing challenge, was more of a hindrance than something to add to gameplay. But if it's cheap you can't really go wrong with Command. :-P
Patch93
I'm sorry, but all this talk about Hitler on the first page makes me want to post this; Dude, that has got to be one of the best Downfall parodies I've ever seen. Drasiana
not to mention its just drama there we go I think Lord O'Donnell will be able to play a video game without suffering an existential crisis
Ellanie
I've already said this, but Command was my first StarFox game, and I liked it enough to want to play the other games of the series. While some bits are weird as hell, I liked the multiple ships, the various endings, the characters of Amanda and Bitch-Krystal. The storyline is like a really bad b-movie, but I found it oddly (masochistically) lovable. It brought a good amount of ideas forward, but execution is all over the place. However, I got it for cheap and (admittedly) action-replayed the holy hell out of the thing to get all the endings, so all the annoying gameplay quips got knocked aside by my third run, and this game is a very good reason to get yourself a screen cover for your DS or 3DS. My old DS had a permanent scratch ring from this game and mass poffin making in Pokemon Pearl. I think you should get it if you could find it for a low price, but take heed to all the complaints everyone has brought forward. It's the worst edition of the series, for sure, but it has merits and is worth checking out as a fan of Star Fox. EDIT: Just watched the Downfall vid. That was hysterical. Geo Stelar
It is definitely worth it. Command has an excellent control system and good graphics. Hwever, if you're a guy who cares very much about a game's story, then prepare for a few good ones and many, well, not totally bad, but are lame ideas. A great game in terms of gameplay, yeah, and that's about all the good I can say about it
Rin
As far as gameplay goes, it can get a bit stressful and repetitive, but it's doable and fun to an extent. If gameplay is your major draw, I'd say get a used copy of it. If you're really into the story aspect of games though, I suggest you don't. Depending on what path you take, the story can either be absurdly messy, or just downright despicable.
Gestalt
what is it with the multiple endings?
Dublinthefox
what is it with the multiple endings? Well, my theory is since Command is considered the end of the series's storyline, giving it multiple endings means fans would get exactly what they wanted. For instance, if you didn't like a character or an event of what happened, then you could like another ending where things would be in your favor. And people always ask what is the REAL ending, and the truth is they're all canon, just in completely alternate timelines.
Ala1n-J
Well, my theory is since Command is considered the end of the series's storyline, giving it multiple endings means fans would get exactly what they wanted. For instance, if you didn't like a character or an event of what happened, then you could like another ending where things would be in your favor. And people always ask what is the REAL ending, and the truth is they're all canon, just in completely alternate timelines. Actually, from what I understood, there is one real ending : that one where SF beats the Anglars but Krystal quits Fox for StarWolf in an OOC moment. The other endings come in as a "Change the destiny" game. Now is Command worth it? Well if gameplay is the only matter for you in a game, well you can give it a try. The strategy gameplay is a nice touch o the series, but IMO I had the feeling to move pawns on a map rather than controlling a mercenary squad. If you consider story and graphics just as important as gameplay, I advise you not to buy it. The story is like a bad fanfiction soap opera, everyone's personality went on fire, some ships look ridiculous (I mean the Tadpole... c'mon!) and the character design is the worst of the series : Fox has a bell shaped head, Slippy leaves me a pedobear impression, everyone has a plastic texture, the Anglars are lame and prepare to meet this : http://croc-smiles.deviantart.com/#/d4oxcsh
