Yusuke Hashimoto (Platinum) - No Krystal in SFZ

Why do I get the feeling that they're gonna put her in later as potential DLC, and/or have cameos in the game?

Look, so long as they give her better character (but somehow I doubt that), I won't mind her in a future title.

Not to get in an argument, but can someone please tell me why Krystal is considered an endearing character? I feel like I'm missing something, and I would really like to know (no sarcasm) why she is popular.

Many people like her because she adds a sort of mystical element to the series, from what I can tell. Plus her backstory has a lot of potential.

@Talyl Landmaster I think it's a case of Word of Dante going on. It's not established in canon much about her personality, but more than half the fan-made artwork and fiction tends to portray her as a likable, otherwise mysterious, magical and appealing figure.

It's become a somewhat accepted notion between people in the loop despite the lack of evidence, much like the somewhat common portrayals of a badass Miyu and moe-like Fay. Looking back at it, I'm also somewhat guilty of that in my own writing/headcanon. Personally tend to steer clear of discussing the actual characters though-- too much conflicting headcanon from this point forth.

On the topic of Krystal though, not really all that upset with her removal. Among many things it leaves space to start over. So if they want to do it that way then it's fine by me. Otherwise, fine too.

Here's hoping if they do re-include her, the writers will actually know what to do with her.

If they do choose to bring her back in the next game, all I ask is that they introduce her properly and actually make her seem like a Star Fox character, and not make her come off as if she was ripped from a completely different franchise for the sake of giving Fox a love interest.

Well I actually don't see her that way. If they decide to scrap her out for good, they'd better make a game just for her. Or else prepare for the furious fan party.

Could this mean they're retelling the franchise starting at 64, or they making another alternative storyline?

the game is SUPPOSE to be set in a reimaged lylat wars so there's a good reason why krystal is currently not in the game., None of the events later on occurred YET.

All i want to see is a starFox game that sheds light on Corneria's early history and development. stuff like ancient warfare and all.

It's also set in the lylat wars so it won't make any chronological sense for her to be in it whatsoever.
