I don't know the first thing about FTPing files. But Milton does. We're gonna set one up sometime. Smilies? It's drag-and-drop once you're connected. All you need for that is server name (or IP Address), username, and password. Of course themes in phpBB can be a little tricky. Of the versions don't match on a theme, it can look borked. Some themes are made poorly so they look borked to begin with. If you want to make your own, it requires knowledge of CSS and a little bit of PHP. Adding emoticons is not hard in phpBB. You can get around the size limitation by uploading the emote into the /phpBB2/images/smiles directory via _FTP. Then you go into the smilie manager and hit "add smilie" and it will appear in the drop-menu. Of course you could also use the upload form, but it restricts resolution and filesize. EDIT: The phpBB guys should fix that bug. If you put a period after FTP, it will parse it as a URL. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Here's the deal: 1) School has us busy. 2) I know where to find the skins, but don't know how to FTP stuff to the server. 3) He's not too sure on where to find skins, but knows how to FTP stuff. 4) This forum will eventually be integrated into StarFox-Online Version 3, the site's upgrade.
